About me

I provide private and INDEPENDENT speech and language therapy across South Wales which includes a range of assessments, INTERVENTIONS AND PROGRAMMES to children of all ages.

I graduated from De Montfort University as a fully qualified speech and language therapist and since then I have worked in a wide range of settings across England and South Wales. I have been very fortunate to work with and support children of all abilities in schools, homes and clinics. I am experienced in working with children of all ages who have a range of speech, language and communication needs.

My style of working is child and parent focused, and takes into account the needs and thoughts of all individuals involved in your child's care.  I offer a range of assessments, therapy sessions, advice and support, specific to you and your child's needs and requirements. My sessions and assessments are relaxed, fun and individual.

I have been fortunate to have a wide range of experience working with children and families. I hold a specialism in working with children who have challenging behaviours with underlying speech and language difficulties.  Children with challenging behaviour often have misinterpreted or unnoticed communication difficulties which can manifest into anxiety, frustration or undesirable behaviour. I can honestly say that I love this aspect of my work and take a huge amount of job satisfaction from it.

I have also held a specialism in working with children who have Specific Language Impairments.
